Carnevale a Napoli

Sono molte le città in Italia e nel mondo che festeggiano il Carnevale secondo le loro usanze, costumi, riti e tradizioni.

Prima vogliamo parlarvi di un po’ di storia del Carnevale Napoletano che inizia il 17 Gennaio nel giorno di Sant’Antonio Abate. Le prime informazioni del Carnevale Napoletano ci arrivano attraverso l’opera “Ritratto o modello delle grandezze, delle letizie e meraviglie della nobilissima città di Napoli”, scritta dal marchese Giovan Battista del Tufo. Attraverso tale opera egli ci informa che nel XVI secolo questa festa era riservata ai principi, nobili, cavalieri, dame, duchesse, marchese ed all’alta aristocrazia napoletana ed era basata su travestimenti, gran balli, tornei, lussuosi ricevimenti.

Più tardi nel XVII secolo il Carnevale diventa anche una festa del popolo ed era organizzata dai pescatori, macellai, pescivendoli, contadini, artigiani. Il Carnevale Napoletano del popolo si manifestava stando nelle piazze e nei vicoli travestiti nelle maschere tradizionali della città e si organizzavano giochi, scherzi, canti, rappresentazioni ed eventi di vario genere ricchi di doppi sensi e di comicità.

Durante il Regno dei Borboni il Carnevale Napoletano conobbe il suo momento di gloria, infatti, continuava ad essere festeggiato tra le piazze e le vie di Napoli con sfilate, maschere, splendidi carri allegorici e sfarzosi. Famosa è la festa di Piedigrotta che ogni anno attira numerosi cittadini e turisti.

Famosa è la maschera principale di Napoli, Pulcinella; ci sono altre maschere della tradizione del Carnevale Napoletano, tra cui: la Vecchia del Carnevale, la Zeza, Don Nicola, Don Felice Sciosciammocca.

Anche l’arte culinaria durante il periodo Carnevalizio vanta piatti tipici del Carnevale che ricordano anche usanze popolari; infatti, era solito fare le cosiddette “abbuffate” prima del periodo Quaresimale che era contraddistinto da digiuni e rinunce culinarie. Tra i piatti Carnevalizi vogliamo citarvi gustosissimi dolci tra cui : le chiacchiere, il sanguinaccio, il migliaccio, le zeppole. Oltre ai dolci si è soliti preparare come primo piatto la lasagna.

Il Carnevale Napoletano, come vi abbiamo accennato è contraddistinto anche dagli scherzi che si fanno ad amici e parenti.

CARNIVAL IN NAPLES

Il seme di Bastoni

Il nostro percorso ci porta oggi a parlare di uno dei 4 semi che compongono un mazzo di carte napoletano, cioè il seme di bastoni

A questo seme appartiene l’asso che è il fulcro della nostra App, cioè l’asso di bastoni, infatti chi lo riceve perde una vita oppure, quando ne ha perse due va fuori dal gioco.

Come illustrato nella figura il seme di bastoni è costituito da 10 carte che vanno numericamente dall’1 al 10. La prima carta, cioè l’asso di bastoni, rappresenta il primo numero di questo seme, in altri termini 1. Via via tutte le altre carte sono contraddistinte da un numero di bastoni che esse rappresentano. Quindi il due di bastoni avrà due bastoni, il 3 avrà tre bastoni e così via.

Fanno eccezione le ultime tre carte di questo seme, infatti il numero 8 è simboleggiato dal fante di bastoni che è rappresentato da una donna con tutti i caratteri, i colori e la simbologia di questo seme. Il numero 9 è simboleggiato dal cavallo di bastoni, cioè un uomo a cavallo con tutta la simbologia del seme di bastoni. Infine, il numero 10 è rappresentato dal re di bastoni che è raffigurato da un uomo con la corona ed i simboli dei bastoni.

La cazzimma che aiuta

Oggi vogliamo parlarvi di un aspetto della cazzimma che può aiutarci in molte situazioni ed eventi della vita che si possono presentare

Abbiam visto nei precedenti articoli che potremmo associare al significato di cazzima una sorta di furbizia che mi reca vantaggio a sfavore di altri, od in altri casi puramente un danno per altri.

Se ci soffermassimo solo a questo livello di discussione potremmo non cogliere un aspetto positivo che potrebbe aiutarci in ogni ambito, cioè quello di pensare ad una sana protezione di sé stessi per evitare spiacevoli eventi, cercando di non recare danno altrui.
